Community Conversations: Living with Disability in NC

The North Carolina Statewide Independent Living Council (NC SILC), in partnership with the network of Centers for Independent Living (CILs), is providing opportunities to hear directly from you about what your life experiences are like as North Carolinians with disabilities. It is our responsibility to hear from you to learn more about the unmet needs of people with disabilities.  It is your right to be given this opportunity to provide input and have your voice heard.

Your feedback will help us create our next 3-year State Plan for Independent Living – a roadmap that guides our efforts to improve access, opportunities, and independence for people with disabilities. When people with disabilities share their lived experiences, the plan becomes stronger, more relevant, and more effective.
